In short

We collect only what we need to arrange your layover tour: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, tour date, flight times, number of guests, pickup point and any access needs.
This website stores nothing you type: the planning form only opens WhatsApp, and "Book now" opens Stripe's secure checkout.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
We never sell your data, and this website uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
You can ask to see or delete your data at any time on WhatsApp (+255 787 558 850).

Who we are

Layover in Addis Ababa is a trading brand of Key 2 Destinations Tourism LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). This policy covers addisababalayover.com and bookings you make with us online, on WhatsApp or by email. We are responsible for the personal information you give us.

What we collect

Contact details: your name and WhatsApp number, and your email address if you give it to us.
Booking details: tour date, tour length, number of guests (and children's ages if relevant), your flight numbers and arrival/departure times, your pickup point, and anything you tell us about health or access needs.
Payment details: if you pay by card, Stripe sends us a confirmation with your name, email, the amount and the booking reference. We do not receive your full card number.
Messages: the WhatsApp messages (and any emails) you send us.

Why we use it

To arrange and confirm your tour around your flights, and to send you the pickup details and guide contact.
To contact you about your booking, including changes on the day.
To take payment, give refunds and keep the accounting records the law requires.
To answer your questions and sort out any problems.

We only message you about your enquiry or booking. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Your guide and driver, only the details they need to run your tour (for example your name, number of guests, flight times and pickup point).
Stripe, to process card payments and refunds.
Authorities, only if the law requires it.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. WhatsApp (Meta) and Stripe are international services and may process data outside the UAE under their own privacy policies.

Cookies and website data

This website does not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not set cookies of its own. Fonts and images are served from our own web server.

Like every website, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, and payment links open Stripe. Those services have their own privacy policies and cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details only as long as we need them to run your tour and handle any follow-up, and payment records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax. Enquiries that do not become a booking are not kept for longer than needed to answer you. You can delete your WhatsApp chat with us at any time on your phone.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (unless we must keep it by law). Message us on WhatsApp at +255 787 558 850 from the number you booked with, and we will reply as soon as we can. We handle personal data in line with UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Security and children

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and share it only with people who need it. Details about children are provided by, and handled with, their parent or guardian.

Governing law and changes

This policy is governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. We may update it from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version.
